If there's no power at your place, check out the current & planned outage map to see if you're affected by either a scheduled maintenance power outage or a fault. If your outage isn't listed or for more information, call us on 0800 30 90 80.
Planned Outages - COVID-19
At COVID-19 Alert Levels 2 and 1, all planned outages will proceed as scheduled.
Check out our planned outages map to see the current status of any upcoming planned power outages you may be affected by or call 0800 30 90 80 to get in touch.
We recognise outages may be difficult for some customers to manage, however, we must ensure we can maintain a safe, reliable, quality supply of electricity throughout the network.
Treat all lines as live during the outage period; power may be restored at any time. If you require further information, please call MainPower’s 24-hour fault line – 0800 30 90 80; to report an emergency call 111.
The MainPower team is made up of around 170 dedicated field and office-based staff, spread between three depots in Rangiora (head office), Culverden and Kaikoura.
