Senior Management Accountant

Reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with the finance team and key managers across the business, we have a great opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant to join our team.

We are focussed on attracting someone who is energetic and adaptable, and who enjoys working in a hands-on role supporting a wide range of finance functions across the business, including monthly reporting, budget development and control, forecasting analysis, financial modelling, and maintenance of fixed asset schedules to name a few.

You will be great at helping non-finance colleagues understand finance principles and procedures that help improve the performance of the organisation. You will also be approachable, a strong communicator, comfortable working in an operational environment with a varied workforce and have a great sense of humour with the drive and ability to make a difference.

To successfully deliver these tasks you will be structured and organised, have strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail, and an ability to remain customer focussed.

Qualifications and experience key to the role:

  • Be a Chartered Accountant or hold a similar professional qualification.
  • 3-4 years’ intermediate to senior management or financial accounting experience.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong excel skills and ERP system experience.
  • A professional and results orientated approach with good business and customer focus.
  • An ability to take initiative combined with sound judgement.

Business Development Analyst (Fixed Term)

We have a great 12-month fixed term opportunity for a Business Development Analyst to work in our Commercial team. The role will report to and work closely with our Strategy and Planning Manager and support the development and operation of our business development initiatives, including supporting our internal planning framework, analysis of our retail function and our pricing models.

To successfully deliver these tasks you will understand business planning processes, have excellent organisation and planning skills, be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a varied workforce, and have the drive and ability to make a difference.

Ideally you will have:

  • 5 years’ experience in commercial analytical roles
  • Experience developing financial models, with strong excel skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • An ability to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks and see them through to completion
