We recognise outages may be difficult for some customers to manage, however, we must ensure we can maintain a safe, reliable, quality supply of electricity throughout the network.

MainPower New Zealand Limited, your North Canterbury and Kaikoura electricity lines’ company, is undertaking research with customers to understand your expectations around your electricity supply and the level of service you expect from us. Looking to the future, we need your input to build and maintain an electricity network that meets your expectations.
The first phase of this research involves customers in the Hanmer Springs area with residents, homeowners and businesses encouraged to complete an online survey to share their views.
