Helicopter Power Line Inspections

MainPower is continuing to carry out aerial power line inspections during the month of March.

The inspections will be completed using a camera mounted on a helicopter flying at a low level close to the power lines. The helicopter will only be in the listed areas for a short time as it moves across the network.

The inspections will cover parts of the following areas:

Oxford

Ashley

Sefton

Waipara

Amberley

Balcairn

Leithfield

Hawarden / Masons Flat

Lewis Pass

Hanmer Springs

Waiau

Culverden

Rotherham

Kaikoura

Please note, inspections are subject to suitable weather conditions and may change with no notice.

Electricity supply will not be affected.
