Hanmer Springs Substation

As part of MainPower’s planning for future capacity, as well as the retirement of end-of-life assets, we are going to install a new substation to meet projected growth in the Hanmer Springs region.

The new substation project will take 4-5 years to complete and will be built at a new location that can support larger assets.

Right now, we are working on initial concept designs for the new asset and in negotiations to procure suitable land for the installation.
